Uber Arena is a multipurpose indoor sports and entertainment Arena in Berlin, Germany. It is a large-capacity arena that can accommodate approximately 17000 visitors during large concerts. It can accommodate approximately 14,500 visitors for basketball and 14,200 for Ice Hockey. Uber Arena seating plan is quite popular among visitors to find seats. The seating arrangement chart is also helpful in locating the best seats before booking.
Construction of the arena in Berlin began in 2006, and it opened in 2008 as O2 World under a naming agreement. It was renamed Mercedes-Benz Arena in 2015 following the new naming rights agreement. It has been known as the Uber Arena since 2024, after Uber purchased the naming rights agreement. Uber Arena is operated and owned by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). It is used to host indoor sports like basketball, Ice Hockey, tennis, and other indoor athletic events. It is also used for combat Sports like WWE, boxing, and MMA. Concerts, conferences, live entertainment shows, etc., are frequently hosted at the Uber Arena.
It is the home ground of the Alba Berlin basketball team, which competes in the Basketball Bundesliga. It is also used by the Eisbären Berlin ice hockey team, which competes in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Both teams’ home games are played at the Uber Arena, which has been their regular venue since 2008.

Uber Arena Seating Plan
It is a primary venue in Berlin for ice hockey and basketball. The layout of the stadium shows the locations of seats, including their sections and rows. The color-coded map categorizes premium sections, lower-bowl seats, and upper-bowl seats. Uber Arena seating plan also shows the location of accessible seats for disabled guests. These ADA seats are reserved for guests with mobility issues or those using wheelchairs.
Accessible seats are available in most sections. Pre-booking is recommended for disabled seats, as they fill up quickly before big events. Approximately 130 spaces are reserved for wheelchair and additional seats for the companion. The above layout helps in finding the seats at the Uber Arena during Ice Hockey games.
Uber Arena is a regular venue for hosting basketball games. The layout for basketball and Hockey is almost identical. It can accommodate 300 more visitors during basketball games due to the addition of courtside sections.
The locations of wheelchair seats, premium sections, and general sections differ, and they are of different colors. Visitors can also see the location of the main entrance, premium entrance, and wheelchair entrance on the seating layout.
Uber Arena Seating Plan for Concerts
Concerts are frequently hosted at the Uber Arena. It can accommodate approximately 17000 visitors during large concerts, and temporary expansions are set up on the floor. The performance stage is set up in 2 main layouts: end stage and center stage.
During the end-stage layout, the sections behind the stage are generally unusable due to obstructed views. The location of the performance stage, along with disabled seats and premium sections, is depicted on the Uber Arena concert seating map. The locations of premium sections are also shown on the map. The floor sections are in the premium category during the concerts as they are situated close to the stage. The layout of the Uber Arena is quite helpful for finding the seats.
In the center-stage layout, it can accommodate the maximum number of visitors. All the stands are usual, and the view is good.
The central stage layout is generally applicable during combat Sports and concerts. The seats in the premium sections and on the floor are the most expensive areas. The sections in the lower bowl are popular with visitors and expensive. The seats in the upper level are among the most affordable seats at the Uber Arena and these are popular with budget visitors. It is advisable to choose the seats in the front rows to get the best value of money spent. The seats in the last rows and extreme corners are generally not good for the view.
Uber Arena Parking Map
Parking is available on site at the Uber Arena and the location of parking lots is mentioned on the Uber Arena parking map. The locations of the ticket booking office and the stadium entrance, including the premium and disabled entrances, are also indicated on the map. Disabled parking is available in the arena and plaza car parking lots. Pre-booking of disabled parking is recommended before big events. The parking rate is 4 Euro per hour and 35 Euro for 24 hours. Visitors attending the event can park for 16 Euro when arriving after 6:00 p.m. and leaving before 12:00 a.m.
Visitors with a severe disability can park their vehicle at the Uber Arena for a discounted rate of €8. Charging stations are situated in the arena car park and Plaza car park. Parking fills up quickly before big events; therefore, public transport is recommended for getting to the Uber Arena. Premium parking is available at the Uber Arena, and it is included with the premium seat/package.
Warschauer Straße Station is served by the S-Bahn and U-Bahn and is the closest to the Uber Arena, a 5-minute walk. Ostbahnhof Station on the S-Bahn is another option, about 12 minutes on foot. Warschauer Straße bus and tram stops are situated outside the indoor arena. Visitors can arrive here by cab or bicycle. Multiple bicycle racks are situated around the venue.

Uber Arena Bag Policy
Only a small A4-sized bag is allowed inside the Uber Arena after screening. It is advisable to arrive with only essential items, such as diapers, baby food, and medical-necessities items. Large bags and prohibited items are not allowed inside the venue. A limited storage facility is available for a fee of 6 Euro per bag.
