Japan National Stadium is the National stadium and located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. This stadium is a multipurpose stadium and mainly used for football games. Japan National stadium also known was Olympic Stadium and New National Stadium. This stadium was started to build on 11th December 2016 and opened its gate for the public on 21st December 2019. This stadium was built on place of the old National stadium which was demolished in May 2015. The construction cost of the stadium was US$1.4 billion and this beautiful stadium was designed by the Kengo Kuma. Japan National Stadium hosted 2020 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Paralympics. This stadium also hosted various concerts like Arafes, Ado Special Live 2024, Eikichi Yazawa 50th Anniversary Tour “My Way” etc. and various National & International games. Japan National Stadium is owned by the Japan Sports Council. Japan national football team and Japan national rugby union team are the current tenants of the New National Stadium.
