De Beers Diamond Oval is an international cricket stadium in South Africa. This ground is primarily used for hosting international and Domestic Cricket games. It is located in Kimberley; therefore, it is also known as the Kimberley Cricket Stadium. The ground has a capacity of 11,000, and it can be expanded with temporary arrangements during high-voltage matches. The Diamond Oval cricket stadium has hosted many notable events in the past, including matches from the 2003 Cricket World Cup. It is the home ground of the Knights cricket team and the Northern Cape cricket team. Home games of both teams are played at this ground during the tournament. Kimberley Cricket Ground is also used by the national cricket teams of South Africa, Both Men’s and Women’s, to host international games. The first international match at this ground was played in ODI format between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 1998. It has hosted only one T20 International game, which was played between South Africa and Zimbabwe in 2010. An international test match has not been played at this ground till now. Women’s cricket team of South Africa is also hosted at this ground.
