Sydney Showground Stadium is a multipurpose sports stadium located in Sydney. Engie Stadium is the current name of the Stadium after the naming rights were acquired. Sydney Showground Stadium is mainly used to host Australian rules football, soccer, cricket, and other sports. It is a regular venue for musical events and concerts. The current seating capacity of the ground is 24,000. The Engie Stadium seating plan with seat numbers and rows helps in locating the best view seats within the stadium. Giants Stadium was the previous name of this Stadium and has now been changed to Engie Stadium after a new sponsorship.
The construction of the stadium began in 1996, and it was completed in 1998. It was renovated after a three-year construction period in 2001 and expanded in 2012 to provide the latest facilities. It is the home ground of the Sydney Thunder BBL team. It is one of the most popular sports stadiums in Australia. Sydney Royal Easter Show is held here every year for over 2 weeks during Easter.
