The first international game at this Stadium was played in ODI format between India and Zimbabwe in 1997. The first T20 International game at Benoni Cricket Ground was played between Botswana and Uganda in 2022. The first women’s international match at this ground was played in 2005 between Sri Lanka and the West Indies. Eastern Cricket Union owns and manages this ground.
