Avicii Arena is the largest indoor Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. It can accommodate approximately 14000 visitors for Ice Hockey and 16000 for musical concerts. The record attendance at this arena was 17,303 at the Metallica concert in 2018. It is a popular venue for hosting ice hockey, musical concerts, entertainment events, and similar shows. The construction of the indoor Arena started in 1986, and it was completed in 1989. Stockholm Globe Arena was the original name of the largest arena in Sweden. It is commonly known as Globen. It was renamed Ericsson Globe in 2009 after the naming agreement. It was renamed to its current name, Avicii Arena, in 2021 after a new naming rights agreement. Avicii Arena has no parking space of its own. Visitors can use the parking space in Globen Shopping Parking and Arenagaraget. The total capacity of these two parking lots is 2150, including 1650 in Globen Shopping and 650 in Arenagaraget. These parking spaces fill up quickly before big events; therefore, early arrival is preferred. Preservation is recommended if available. Disabled car parking is available in Globen Shopping and in Arena Garage under 3Arena. Pre-arrival is recommended as the spaces are limited and fill up quickly.

Public transport is recommended to arrive at the Avicii Arena due to excellent connectivity. Globen Metro Station on the green line is within a 2-minute walk, and it has facilities for visitors using wheelchairs and mobility aids. Gullmarsplan Metro Station and Skärmarbrink Metro Station are also other nearby transit stations within a walking distance of under 10 minutes. Globen Tram stop and Gullmarsplan Bus Terminal are also situated within a short walk of 5 minutes. Stockholm Central railway station is connected via the green line metro with a travel time of 15 minutes.

Avicii Arena Bag Policy

The standard bag policy allows bags under the size of 40 × 40 × 20 cm. Larger bags and prohibited items are not allowed inside the stadium. No locker facility for the storage of prohibited items. Locker facilities for prohibited items are available at Globen Shopping and outside the venue. Large bags, outside food, beverages, large umbrellas, bottles, etc are not allowed. Medical kits, baby food, and diaper bags can be allowed inside the stadium after additional screening.
