The Caesar Superdome is situated in downtown, and multiple hotels are situated around the stadium. It is easy to reach by walking from these hotels, as traffic restrictions are in effect during the NFL season and major events. It is advisable to use public transport to reach the venue on time and in a convenient manner. It is well-connected with multiple public transport options. The Canal Street Streetcar on the Red Line is one of the best options to reach the venue. The visitor should deboard at the Poydras St / Loyola Ave stop, and the rest of the distance can be covered in 10 minutes on foot.
Multiple bus stops are located around the stadium’s entry gates, and visitors can use RTA buses to reach the Superdome in New Orleans. Passengers coming from the train should get off at the Union Passenger Terminal and cover the rest of the distance on foot in approximately 10 minutes.
Caesar Superdome Bag Policy and Security
Only clear backpacks of small size under 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed inside the stadium after the screening. Small clutch bags of size not larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ can be taken inside the stadium. The diaper bag is allowed inside the stadium and must comply with the clear-bag policy. Medicine bags and other necessary items can be taken into the stadium after approval from the security team, subject to proper screening.
Visitors to Caesar Superdome should be prepared for airport-style screening. Metal detectors and X-ray machines are situated at all the entry gates of the Superdome. Visitors are advised to enter from the same entry gate mentioned on the entry ticket to avoid delay. Long queues are expected at the entry gates during major events; therefore, visitors are requested to arrive early.
Visitors should not bring any unnecessary items to the stadium to avoid delays. Storage facilities are not available most of the time.
