Bag Policy & Security Screening
All visitors entering Rogers Arena are required to go through a security screening process before accessing the seating areas. This is standard for major sporting and entertainment venues to ensure a safe experience for all attendees.
Visitors should be aware that bag size and type policies may vary depending on the event, but in most cases the arena follows a clear bag policy. This means:
Small clear bags (see arena guidelines for exact dimensions) are usually permitted
Personal items such as wallets, phones, and keys in small pouches are generally acceptable
Large backpacks, duffel bags, coolers, hiking packs, and similar oversized bags may not be allowed
In addition to bags, security staff may check items such as cameras, umbrellas, and food or beverage containers. Visitors may be required to undergo metal detector screening or bag inspections at entry points, especially during high-attendance events like NHL games or major concerts.
To make entry smoother and faster, it is recommended to review the official Rogers Arena bag policy before attending and arrive at least 45–60 minutes before the event starts.
